ENDF/B-VI Incident-Neutron Data |
This page provides access to the incident-neutron evaluations for
ENDF/B-VI through Release 8. Each entry has links to the raw ENDF
evaluation and to an interative browser that makes it easier to read
ENDF format for non experts. The ENDF/B-VI library was updated during its lifetime by eight "releases." The release for each evaluation is indicated by a suffix on the atomic number as follows:
none = Release 0 a = Release 1 b = Release 2 c = Release 3 d = Release 4 e = Release 5 f = Release 6 g = Release 7 h = Release 8 In addition, each entry has supplemental information, including the ENDF MAT number and an "Info Tag" which provides some summary information about the contents of the evaluation using the following abbreviations:
B = Single-level Breit-Wigner resolved resonance parameters M = Multi-level Breit Wigner resolved resonance parameters R = Reich-Moore resolved resonance parameters A = Adler-Adler resolved resonance parameters G = General R matrix resonance parameters U = Single-level Breit-Wigner unresolved resonance parameters 4 = File 4/5 present 6 = File 6 present g = Gamma production from file 12-15 or file 6 present c = Covariance files present Room Temperature Data Reconstructed and broadened data at room temperature are available using URLs like http://t2.lanl.gov/nis/data/data/ENDFB-VI-neutron-pointwise/Ag/107. These are the data that were used to generate the plots in this section. Most of the materials are given at 300K rather than the 293.6K (.0253 eV) that has been used for more recent processing. Warning: the files are fairly large.
