T-2 Nuclear Physics

T-2 Light Nuclei (TN Burn, R-matrix, nuclear astrophysics)

T-2 provides nuclear data and theoretical support for applications involving reactions in light nuclei, including:

Thermonuclear (TN) and other charge-particle reactions

Cross-section standards and other neutron reactions

Astrophysical reactions

This includes producing not only the evaluated cross section
data, but also the processed (Maxwellian averaged) reaction
rates and spectra required for NW applications. The basic data
are put into the international Evaluated Nuclear Data File (ENDF) system, and the processed data into the LANL Nuclear Data Interface (NDI).
