Supernovae Neutrino Flavor Transformations

Supernovae neutrinos are a potentially important observable which can yield significant information about the supernovae environment. The flavor evolution of supernovae neutrinos is a non-trivial problem because of neutrino-neutrino forward scattering, as described by Qian and Fuller and others. We review the recent history of studies in this area and describe results of our initial set of calculations which (for the first time) attempt to include the full energy and angle dependence in the neutrino propagation.
