This talk provides a brief review of results from the last few years concerning non-relativistic Fermi gases in the regime of large scattering lengths. I will comment on a set of remarkable exact relations derived by Shina Tan and others, along with recent developments involving sum rules for shear and bulk viscosities. I will also present preliminary results on a quantity that plays a central role in these new developments and in the characterization of the strongly interacting regime: the "contact".
