Scaling in Intermediate Energy Hadron Scattering

Quasi-free scattering of intermediate energy mesons and nucleons to the continuum has been analyzed in the y-scaling formulation known to apply to electron scattering. Charge exchange reactions are also included. Scaling is found in some cases among the large array of data available. Differences from electron scattering responses will be emphasized, in hopes of measuring medium modifications to projectile-nucleon scattering. (Refs.: Phys. Rev. C 69 (2004) 064612 and Phys. Rev. C 65 (2002) 054601.)
