Do realistic NN and NNN potentials describe 4He data?

We report on a microscopic calculation of the 4He scattering system employing Argonne v18 and Urbana IX potentials. The converged calculation reproduces thresholds and binding energies very well. A comparison with phase shifts from an R-matrix analysis and recent data yields mostly quantitative agreement and gives hints to improve the NNN forces.
