Unified description of the nuclear structure and reaction

Kazuhito MIZUYAMA

The continuum particle-vibration coupling(cPVC) method is formulated by using the continuum Hartree-Fock Green's function and the continuum RPA response function with the effective nucleon-nucleon(NN) interaction. Self-consistent description of the nuclear reaction based on the cPVC method could successfully reproduce the experimental data of the nucleon elastic and inelastic scattering. Even resonances were partially reproduced because the door-way states are taken into account as the intermediate states of the reaction. In the PVC framework, the microscopic optical potential(MOP) can be derived from the NN interaction. The MOP is given as the non-local and complex potential which has the incident energy dependence. I will show the results which were obtained so far, and discuss the applicability to the future nuclear data evaluation.
